Evaluation
• approximately 90-minutes at Wordshop studio — $330
• includes a thorough speech-language report.
• Marjorie can send your report to any of your other practitioners and to new referrals
• usually required to begin treatment (sometimes a recent evaluation from somewhere else is enough to begin)
After discussing your needs and goals for therapy with Marjorie, the first step in therapy is usually evaluation. At this point you’ll have some intake paperwork. Other records and evaluations will also be requested.
An evaluation session is usually between about an hour to two hours in duration, depending on the child. With this initial evaluation, you’ll have a report for your records, and Marjorie will connect you with any referrals. She will coordinate care with any other service providers.

• approximately 45-minute at-home visit — $160 (includes $30 travel fee)
• Wordshop offers sliding scale sessions, package discounts, and discounts for BIPOC individuals.
Speech/language/communication therapy sessions are individually designed to help your child build specific skills and practice communication in a fun and friendly setting. Treatment sessions are typically 45 minutes, though this can depend on your child’s attention needs and age.
